The economical alternative offering exceptional print quality
The new compact Roland 200 is a 13,000 sph, 20 x 29-inch format sheetfed press offering users superb print quality with ease of operation. Available in 2/0, 4/0 and 5/0 configurations (115 and 170 square feet respectively), the press handles a wide range of stocks from “bible” paper to 0.032-inch board and foil.
Totally redesigned from its predecessor, the renowned Roland 200, the new unitized Roland 200 is frequently called upon for two- and four-color printing of high-quality catalog/sell sheets by commercial printers and forms printing by in-plant printing departments.
The press has been designed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing number of printers entering the four-color market. It also is frequently selected as a supplementary press for larger press equipment. Printers who want an easy-to-use four-color press that offers fast setup and easy runability without extensive operator involvement often look to the Roland 200 because it offers all of these benefits and much, much more:

The new operator console of the Roland 200 is integrated into the delivery and provides a wide range of functional benefits; i.e., sample register settings for the page and the total page count, RCI color control, as well as the setting of the ink stripe on the ink vibrator. The compact 200 design also saves time: Remove a specimen sheet from the delivery, place it on the transparent delivery, and match the color to the proof, and quickly adjust registration, if needed.
0.04 to 0.8 millimeter: a small step for a printer but a big step for a printing company.
The utmost flexibility. As far as the range of substrates is concerned, the ROLAND 200 is the most flexible press in the 50 x 70 centimeters compact format class. It can process substrates from 0.04 to 0.8 millimeter thick.
Special equipment for cardboard*. Equipping the press with CardboardWheels prevents sheets slapping against the transferters. Cardboard equipment also includes a cover frame on the feedboard and sheet rear edge guides above the impression cylinders.
Up to six printing units. The ROLAND 200 can be configured with any number of printing units between two and six Inline enhancement. Five or six printing units permit Value Added Printing through inline finishing. Equipment for coating, scoring*, and perforating* is available – all inline.

Space is not a prerequisite.
Efficiency is the art of making more out of less. With its integrated delivery, the ROLAND 200 only needs the same space as a very small-format press (35/50 centimeters) but has twice the output. Low space requirements. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the ROLAND 200 can fit practically anywhere. The four-color press for instance is only 5.4 meters long, 2.9 meters wide and 2 meters high.
Rapid installation. When access to the installation site is ideal, up to five-color versions of the ROLAND 200 can be delivered fully assembled, and the press is ready to start production in the shortest possible time.
A high level of production security. The RCI (Remote Controlled Inking) color control system integrated in the delivery, along with automatic settings, reduces makeready times to a minimum. Color and register corrections can be easily carried out on the run.
Short makeready times. Remote adjustment of lateral and diagonal register*, automated plate changing with EPL™ (Ergonomic Plate Loading)*, fully automated cloth-type blanket washing systems*, and color presetting with PressManager smart* shorten makeready times, as do the easy to clean ink fountains with a special coating.
Up to color fast. With ColorPilot smart* the first saleable sheets are produced within a very short time, and the system maintains consistently high printing quality over the entire run. A motorized rail* makes operation simple.*Option
